Mihotoke Issa, a.k.a. "Fats Buccha", Black Pig, (Fatty in anime) Buccha is a heavily-built, tanned fighter specializing in close combat. His character design is based off the wrestler Abdullah, which is referenced by the three lines on his forehead. Before joining Kogarasumaru, he was the leader of the team Night Kings (Yaooo!!).

Appearance

Buccha is an inhumanly large young man with a large upper body and fat appearance. He wears headphones all the time, has a bald head and wears a pink and white striped shirt. When he does his 'Bump Up', his appearance grows to a very muscular and well-toned man with large arms and well-toned abs.

Personality

Buccha was originally a bully and loved to toy with others and abuse his powers. He was obsessed with becoming an ace Storm Rider, so he gained as many emblems as he could to prove his worth. After his loss to Ikki, he decided to start over and lose his bully like attitude.

Since joining Kogarasumaru, Buccha is much nicer and calmer. He's more friendly and values his team much more than he did before. However, he can be rather stubborn when he chooses and at some point thought about leaving if Ikki would turn into a punk and abuse his position or not consult the team about decisions. However, when impressed enough, he shows respect and values his trust into others.

Befitting his fat

appearance, Buccha loves to eat and is obsessed with eating, usually Ramen. He states he doesn't like to lose weight, but sometimes doesn't mind losing some weight.

For some reason, he can communicate with Onigiri telepathically possibly due to them being fat and similar in appearance. They both are referred to as the "Pig Brothers".

Synopsis

Buucha vs Dontores — Buccha vs Dauntless

Buccha's father is a Buddhist monk, and he is currently dating the sister of Mr. Orihaya. Buccha originally appeared in the series as a villain: the leader of the Night Kings, he dominated Higashi Junior High by night. After losing against Ikki in a Hurdles match, he turns into a stalwart ally of Ikki and becomes a founding member of Kogarasumaru. In their fights, he usually doesn't always win his fights like Onigiri. He once threatened to leave the group due to Ikki wanting to merge with Genesis and states that is not the decision of a good leader. However, Ikki proved his worth to him again and didn't leave. When Ikki and Agito were in the hospital for their injuries, Buccha and the others had to fight the other teams challenging them to rank up to a Rank C level team. When Kazu was declared the replacement leader by Ikki, Buccha states Ikki made the right choice and stated Kazu needed to believe in himself for the battles at hand. After Sora's betrayal of Genesis, Buccha and their allies of Kogarasumaru arrived at their headquarters to fight Genesis and save Rika. In the aircraft charrier, he was matched against Orca in the main ballast tank of the aircraft carrier. In a dash to the bottom of the tank, he had his wrists cut to drain him of his blood underwater. He eventually wins by inhaling and exhaling water at rapid velocities to propel himself downward, and Orca changes sides to Kogarasumaru to see what it's like on their side. Buccha sees Ikki off to fight Sora in the final battle.

Since Orca's side reversal, Buccha has seemed to develop a strong bond with him (as is shown in the aftermath of the battles on the aircraft carrier, and in the afterward with Orca riding on his shoulder.)

Abilities

Despite his usual rotund, amicable appearance, Buccha is actually a well-toned athlete. His apparent obesity is actually caused by a large amount of blood pooling in his gut from overeating; with the technique 'Bump Up', he sends that blood to his muscles, revealing his true physique - a muscular hulk with tremendous strength and reach. In battle, he wears a pair of customized ATs which resemble miniature jeeps (Complete with spare wheels), and uses studded gloves to further his destructive potential. A 'Power' type rider, Buccha specializes in Close-Quarters Combat. His 'shadow' is a tank, signifying his ability to body-slam opponents with the force of a cannon shell.

Although Buccha has the skills to potentially rival that of a King, he lacks the mental will to utilize them fully in battle. Since then, he has undergone mental training from his father to strengthen his mental focus and improve his self-confidence. He showed in the Sleipnire battle that his body can withstand huge shock waves made by Ikki, Kazu, and Agito attacks becoming strong as a mountain so he could become what Spitfire called "The King of Mountains". He has went through Buddhist training so he can keep calm and positive during battle.

In his battle against Orca he shows a great extent of his true ability. He shows his ability to be more calm in battle as he has developed a more "Zen" fighting style. This has allowed him to use Bump Up to his lower body to go into what he calls "Buccha High Speed Light Tank Mode". By doing so, his upper body became thinner and allowing him to move at high speeds, speeds that he wasn't capable of before. During his battle with Orca, he revealed that he has the ability to run underwater. He later reveals that there is over ten times amount of blood flowing in his body than a normal human and huge amount of oxygen stored in the hemoglobins of that blood. His blood itself is a huge oxygen tank, so he can hold his breath for over twenty minutes. He finally reveals his road, The "Rock" Road.

He is capable of emitting and releasing vibrations of the Gaia Road.

During the fight between Sleipnire and Kogarasumaru, Buccha had a Battle level of 68.

(With Ikki) Buccha Tornado: Ikki uses Pile Tornado to propel Buccha at high speeds towards the enemy

Bump Up Reversal: Buccha uses Bump Up on his lower body, effectively increasing his speed and the strength of his legs. This also allows him to enter High Speed Light Tank Mode.

Hammerhead Death: Buccha launches himself off of a wall torwards his opponent.

Enlightenment Pump Up V3: Buccha pumps up the blood from his body to his arms. And uses the iron in his blood to increase his diving ability.

Buccha Snowplow: Using the hands as a plow, pushing and pulling motion, diving underwater, it adds up to the acceleration due to that the weight now will be centered upon the palms.
High Speed Light Tank Mode: This form allows Buccha to move faster that normal, in order to enter this mode he must first use Bump Up Reversal.
