Kazu eventually awakens to the Flame Road, and is the presumptive Flame King. His repertoire mainly consists of "Time" Tricks along with the occasional "Flame" trick. Apart from possessing the King-Class abilities to merit the title of Flame King, Kazu displays considerable analytical ability, and is capable of dissecting and understanding the principles of opponents' moves instantly. He also a copymaster as he is shown being able to copy an opponent ability. Outside of A·T, Kazu is a competent fist-fighter and an incredible batter, although his batting form is horrendous.

This dramatically reduces the boiling point of any present liquids within the orb. The main target of this technique is blood. When the boiling point of blood drops, it will instantly turn to gas from being boiled by the persons own body heat. This blood vapor will not have enough space within the blood vessels and explode outwards. Agito refers to the result as "a deep red firework". Agito survived the technique by cutting himself to allow the blood vapor to leave his body safely while he passed through the vaccum.

In the anime, she was joined by many of Kogarasumaru's past rivals). After this, however, Genesis deemed Kogarasumaru worthy, and offered to become their underlings. At this, Ringo could no longer continue helping them. As the Thorn Queen, leader of Sleeping Forest, she was Genesis' mortal enemy. If Kogarasumaru joined them, she would become their enemy.
